4:00 to 5:00 - Ostara Walk and Ritual

6:00 - 9:00 - Hangout and chill 

HVGW welcomes the Spring!

After a long cold winter, it's time to get back outside and in contact with the natural world around us.

This Ostara ceremony is a gentle reintroduction to the warm times coming, helping us to connect with the seasonal cycles and reawakening life around us. We will practice looking, sensing and feeling the world of which we are but a small part, so we may stay grounded and stabilized in difficult times with a larger perspective of our world and our place in it. Our meditation walk will lead to a local park, and there we will have a list of activities to do for the half hour we are there. Please come prepared to go outside for a period of time with appropriate outerwear and footwear. Then, we will return home and gather the rewards of our efforts, celebrate the spring and our Pagan community.

HVGW will offer several main courses for Ostara dinner (vegan and gluten-free options will be availabe) but you are invited to bring an offering to the table as well. Please write out the ingredients of your dish if you choose to do so.

• Please note: If you have any symptoms of illness please do not attend.

• There will be alcohol present for those of age. BYOB is fine. We expect all attendees to monitor their intake and make responsible decisions. 

• There will be plenty of street parking available. 

• Rides can be arranged. Please indicate on the RSVP if you are looking for a ride and where you want to be picked up. 

• Service animals only, please. 

• If you have mobility issues please let us know on the RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. 

• If weather proves too inclement we will divert to an indoor event plant, and send notices on our website, email and Facebook pages.
