Get ready to shake it to the beat as we celebrate the height of summer with joyful rhythms! Join our talented local troupe, Drums of West Africa for a fun and enlightening evening as they share the songs they play and explain their meanings in the context of the African cultures they come from. Come ready to drum and dance around the sand circle, because you'll definitely want to! There will be an instructional segment if you would like to learn some West African rhythms, so if you have a hand drum please bring it. Small flow art props such as LED poi are also welcome. Please also bring a chair as seating is limited. Tickets are $10 per person, (children under 12 are free) payable here or at the door. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided.
