Site Conditions and Rain Contingency

This event is happening rain or shine! If rain we will modify the program at the right. Please note that you will want appropriate footwear and clothing for this event dependent on weather. Mud may be a factor in certain areas. While barefoot dancing is allowed in the sand circle, do be aware of the risk of ticks and the fact that there is a large patch of nettles near the circle (which will be marked for your safety). If you would like some nettles to eat then feel free to gather them (with gloves!)

Parking

Parking is available on-site. There are around 30 spots available in main parking and more in overflow parking which is a bit further away from the event. Parking is first come first served. Several spots will be reserved for people with mobility issues. Please let us know if you need one of these spots!

Rides can be arranged for local folks! If you need a ride please let us know ASAP.

Bathrooms

There will be 2 port-a-johns on site and clearly marked with plenty of sanitary products available.

Arrival

Please sign in at the Greeter's Table when you arrive. This area will be clearly marked for your convenience.

Food

HVGW will provide pulled pork sandwiches, barbecued lentils and cole slaw for paid HVGW members. If you become a member of HVGW (only $20 for a year) you can come and get it! If you are not a member, a donation for food is suggested. Potluck items are welcome, however please provide a written list of what ingredients are in your dish to be displayed with your item. Please prepare to bring all leftovers home with you.

This event is BYOB. Alcohol will be present on site for those who are of age. We expect all who partake to make responsible decisions.
